We evaluate the effectiveness of our solution by assessing its value to our target users, with a particular focus on three key user categories:
DeFi Natives - The 'Degen' Crowd: These users are typically characterized by their enthusiasm for DeFi and a willingness to embrace innovation in exchange for token rewards. They are drawn to communities that appreciate their active participation. A successful DEX should provide them with incentives to engage and contribute.
Retail Users - Standard CEX Customers: This group comprises everyday retail users who are accustomed to Centralized Exchanges (CEXs). They have specific preferences and expectations for a frictionless trading experience. To compete effectively, a DEX must cater to their needs and surpass the convenience offered by CEXs.
Automated Traders - Market Makers, Institutions, and Advanced Traders: This category encompasses a more sophisticated and diverse set of traders, including market makers and institutional participants. They require advanced tools and features for efficient trading. An optimal DEX should offer solutions that meet their specific requirements.
Each of these user groups has distinct preferences and priorities, influencing their perception of what constitutes a "frictionless" trading experience. To thrive in this competitive landscape, a DEX must excel in addressing the unique needs of these users, with a particular focus on the underserved segments, namely retail and automated traders.
